Business INCubator Class, Developing Young Entrepreneurs A pilot program at Smithson Valley High for students with a dream to own their own business one day will be offered at Canyon and Canyon Lake high schools next year. Juniors with an entrepreneurial spirit should enroll in the Business Incubator class.

FES Kindergarteners Heading in the Right Direction Thanks to the help of friends at the Texas State University Geography Department, kinder students at Freiheit Elementary were able to “travel” around Texas and learn directions using a giant 12' x 12' Texas map.
Canyon High Students Glimpse Future Careers with Construction Internships This year's pilot construction program at Canyon High has allowed students interested in a career in construction to literally, cinch up a tool belt, roll up their sleeves and work for a local construction company, gaining real-life experience.

Three Students Qualify for Texas High School Rodeo State Finals High school students across the state compete throughout the year in rodeos, in order, to qualify for the State Finals Rodeo, and this year, three Comal ISD students did just that.
Entrepreneurial Spirit Aplenty at Comal ISD’s Third Annual Expo Fifty-two forth-graders from all around Comal ISD gathered at the McKenna event center for the third annual Entrepreneur Expo on March 26. Sales totaled $1,512 for the evening, with a total profit of $656.77. The entrepreneurial spirit was certainly in the air for these students!
